Lotnox 168 is an ashless costabilizer, used in combination with primary antioxidants(hindered phenols and aromatic amines. Performs as a thermally and hydrolytically stable secondary antioxidant decomposing peroxy readicals and hydroperoxides formed during the oxidantion process. Antioxidant 168 is approved by FDA/USA for use in blending lubricants with incidental food contact.
