Lotnox 697 metal deactivator is a unique antioxidant which incorporates a metal deactivation function in the same product. This product maybe used where there is interference from metallic ions such as from residual polymer catalyst, inogranic pigments or mineral-filled polymers. It is also unique in that it is FDA regulated for use in most polymers. This material can be used in a wide variety of polyolefinic and polystryrenic resins.

Characteristics

Lotnox 697 is a sterically hiindered phenolic antioxidant and metal deactivator.

It is anon-discoloring, non-staining antioxidant and thermal stabilizer with outstanding  metal deactivation properties. Typically used in wire and cable insulation, film and sheet manufacture as well as automotive parts.
