BLUE LIGHT ABSORBER B-100(LOTSORB B-100)

Lotosrb® B-100 is a blue light absorber with good weather resistance and strong absorption of UVA (below 400 nm), which has extremely high absorption performance in the 315-400 nm ultraviolet region. It has the advantages of high heat resistance and low volatility, and is suitable for applications that require high-temperature processing. In addition, it can also fully utilize the ultraviolet shielding effect in film applications.

UV Transmittance in film

Application

1: Suitable for thin film products used in TV, smartphone, and tablet displays that require cutting off ultraviolet rays above 380nm to protect polarizers or light-emitting components;

2: High temperature resistant PMMA, PC, PET, COP, acrylic resin, and other general resins are required;

3: Despite limitations in solubility in solvents, excellent absorption characteristics enable sufficient UV absorption even in thin film applications of approximately 9-10um, and provide excellent protection against substrates, materials, pigments, and other materials susceptible to UV radiation;

4: Can be used in combination with hindered amine light stabilizers, benzotriazole, and triazine ultraviolet absorbers to achieve better weather resistance;
