Characterization 

HALS 144 is a highly efficient hindered amine light stabilizer and is also effective as antioxidant. It provides significantly extended lifetime to plastics, elastomer, adhesives and rubber articles.

Applications 

HALS 144 is a very effective light stabilizer used for a wide variety of applications including  polyurethanes, styrenic block homo- and co-polymers, polyamide sealants, adhesives, rubber  compounds, thermoplastic elastomers, unsaturated polyesters, acrylics and other organic substrates

Features/benefits

HALS 144 provides outstanding performance significantly retarding light and thermal degradation. The performance of HALS 144 can be significantly improved when using in combination with a UV absorber, which in many cases result in synergistic effects. HALS 144, having a phenolic antioxidant moiety also allows the user to reduce or eliminate other phenolic antioxidants in the polymer system.
