Ketjenblack® EC-600JD is a high purity, high performance super conductive carbon black that is currently one of the most electrically conductive carbon black species.
Particularly suitable for antistatic and conductive applications, Ketjenblack® EC-600JD has a unique morphology and very high specific surface area of about 1400M2 / G (BET). Compared to conventional conductive carbon blacks
The Ketjenblack® EC-600JD achieves the same conductivity with just one-sixth the amount of traditional conductive carbon black.
Ketjenblack® EC-600JD has a unique branched morphology that facilitates the formation of an efficient conductive network (see Figure 1) and therefore Ketjenblack Superconducting Carbon Black has the following technical advantages:
(1) Ketjenblack EC-600JD achieves high electrical conductivity with 1/3 to 1/6 of the amount of normal conductive carbon black added.
(2) Due to the low added amount of Ketjenblack, the influence of conductive carbon black on the physical properties of the resin is greatly reduced.
(3) Generally, the conductivity of the conductive resin decreases with the shear during processing and extrusion. However, because Ketjen's conductive carbon black is very tough and resistant to high shear forces, Ketjen's conductive carbon black material can be extruded several times without any loss of electrical conductivity.
Ketjenblack® EC-600JD is the best of conductive carbon black, especially for high-end conductive plastic, conductive rubber, conductive coatings, conductive adhesives.
