Lotsorb UV 312 is a oxalamide-type UV absorbent for coating applications. The usage addition  of Absorber 312 is between 0.10 and 1.0%, depending on the substrate and the performance  requirements of the final application.Absorber 312 may be used alone or in combination  with other functional additives, such as antioxidants (blocked phenol, sub phosphates) and  photo stabilizers. Performance data for Absorber 312 alone or in combination with other  additives are available in many of the aforementioned substrates.

Lotsorb UV 312 has strong UV absorption, good compatibility in various substrates, and low  volatility.It protects polymers and organic pigments from UV radiation and helps to preserve  the original appearance and physical integrity of formed particles, films, sheets, and fibers  during outdoor weathering processes. Under performance stability conditions, UV 312 has several advantages:  

■ It is a white product, so the color and transparency do not change.  

■ It is less volatile and has good thermal stability.  

■ It has excellent chemical resistance and does not react with alkaline substances. 

■ It increases the thermal stability of the polyamide. 

■ It is absorbed at low wavelengths, and it can bind to optical whitening agents.

1.0 - 3.0% Absorber 312 0.5-2.0% blocked amine photostabilizer

Storage  environment

The Absorber 312 is stored in a closed container and stored in a cool, dry and ventilated  environment.
