LOTSORB UV-366 is a new UV absorber that strongly absorbs ultraviolet light and shows a higher UV absorption rate than traditional hydroxyl substituted benzotriazole or benzophenone, thus providing maximum protection against photodegradation of the polymer. Compared with other traditional UV absorbers, it has the characteristics of high molecular weight, non-volatilization, extraction resistance and easy processing. The appearance of LOTSORB UV-366 is light yellow, does not cause coloring and discoloration of the polymer, and can maintain the original transparency or color of the product after long-term exposure to light and heat. LOTSORB UV-366 can be used alone, or combined with a light stabilizer (such as blocked amine compounds), can be directly combined with the resin or made into a master batch, or can be dissolved in solvent and painted on the surface of the product. The recommended dosage is 0.25-0.3%. The UV absorption effect is obviously better than other traditional UV absorbers. Suitable for PP, PE; It can also be used in polystyrene, ABS resin, PVC, nylon, polyurethane and so on. LOTSORB UV-366 is a benzotriazole ultraviolet absorber, which can effectively inhibit the occurrence of photooxidation degradation reaction, protect fiber materials, and greatly improve the grade of textile products.
LOTSORB UV-366 has the following advantages:
1) High UV protection efficiency, UV molar extinction coefficient is 2.6 times that of benzophenone UV absorbers and 1.8 times that of traditional benzotriazole (alkyl phenol substituted derivatives) UV absorbers.
2) Strong adsorption, and its fiber absorption, especially for microfibers, is stronger than triazine ultraviolet absorbers. Especially for polyester fiber has excellent properties.
